Success is the realization of worthwhile goals and dreams. Principal Al Benskin has received his PhD after many years of hard work.

“It feels like a big load has been lifted off my shoulders because I’m very goal-oriented,” Principal Benskin said.

Principal Benskin earned his PhD in Educational Leadership at Texas Wesleyan University.

“It takes a lot of time, dedication, prayer, and patience,” he said.  “It’s not about being smart. It’s about the process and work ethic.”

The WHS staff threw a surprise party Tuesday morning to congratulate Principal Benskin.

“I was speechless,” said Principal Benskin. “Having the staff there was special because they are my teammates.”

The students and staff are very happy for Principal Benskin.

“Principal Benskin is a hard-working man,” said Sophomore Lexi Workman. “Im glad he got to achieve his goal.”
