Stars win game 1 behind Khudobin’s strong performance
On Sunday night, the Dallas Stars took on the Vegas Golden Knights in game one of the Western Conference Finals in the NHL playoffs. The Stars came off an amazing game seven against the Colorado Avalanche, where they won 5-4 in overtime.
Star’s Goalie Anton Khudobin once again got the start in the net as Ben Bishop was placed on the injured list and out for the game. The game started off tightly contested with a lot of defense and not many shots on goal. The Stars first shot came from John Klingberg, and he would end up scoring the only goal during the game. Anton Khudobin was the star of the game, stopping all 25 of the Golden Knights shots on goal.
The Stars now have a 1-0 lead in the series and will play again Tuesday night, looking to take a 2-0 lead in the series.
