Eli Wheaton

The first time Eli saw the field, he told his dad that football was his dream. Now a sophomore in high school, he was a starting wide receiver for the varsity team until he injured his knee in a scrimmage.

“I tore my meniscus in the Red Oak scrimmage,” Eli said. “Although I can’t play this season, Next year I should be good as new.”

Every day Eli puts in work to accomplish his goal: reaching the NFL.

“I hope one day I can make things better for me and my family,” said Eli.  He has never given up on his dream.

Being 6’3″ gives Eli a huge advantage on the field and on the court.  “Basketball is my backup if the NFL is dumb enough to not draft me.”
