Mr.Chambers

Mr. Chambers is one of the new CTE teachers at Waxahachie High School. Before coming here, he taught at Duncanville High School for twelve years.

“I moved to WHS because I heard really good things and it’s close to home,” Chambers said. “It’s a well-organized school and everyone is nice. I really love it here so far.”

Mr. Chambers teaches construction and has an educational background in welding and construction technology.

“I decided to teach construction because I have a wide range of knowledge and it’s fun to build things,” Chambers said.

His main goal for this year is to get 80 percent of his students certified. To keep students motivated, they do a lot of hands-on projects.

“A big project we are doing this year is building a big storage building,” Chambers said. “This will help teach the students a wide range of construction skills.
