Football advances to next round of playoffs
After their 30 – 21 victory over Temple, the Indian varsity football team advanced to the second round of playoffs.
“The win feels good. It’s our first playoff win in 6A,” quarterback Roderick Hartsfield said. “I feel like we handled the environment well, we didn’t complain and kept going.”
The next round of the playoffs will be held in a neutral location, per UIL policy. This year, the game will be at Globe Life Field in Arlington, the old Ranger’s Stadium.
“I’m excited to play at Globe life. The atmosphere will be great,” said running back Jayden Becks.
The team will play against Rockwall high school on Nov. 18 at 7:00 p.m. at Globe Life Field in Arlington.
