Interested in amazing skills, wonderful friends, and enthralling parties? Well, Waxahachie’s Mu Alpha Theta is the club for you! This Club brings together the best and brightest of the school in a wonderful coalition of intelligence, camaraderie, and entertainment, and it does all this in just 45 minutes after school. What is this spectacular organization you may ask? Mu Alpha Theta is Waxahachie’s first national math club. It incorporates advanced mathematical techniques and fast paced problems into a fun challenging approach to math. This unique program was brought to WHS after the Stellick family moved here from Seattle. Sponsored by Mrs. Axtell, this club began to to grow starting from a meager three member and growing all the way to eight official members and several associates. So if you want to join this new family, then go to the meetings in Mrs. Axtell’s room at 3:45 on Monday’s.
