Hello! I am Maylie McCorkle, and I am the editor-in-chief of The Arrow. I have been a part of Media Staff and yearbook for all four years of high school. I fell in love with journalism because it has enabled me to meet so many new people and see the world from different perspectives. Writing is my passion, and I have loved delivering impactful stories to my peers.
In addition to Media Staff, I am a member of the student council, National Honor Society, Academic Decathlon team, Interact Club, and the UIL Journalism Team.
In my free time, I love to travel, make oddly specific playlists, and write GoodReads reviews on bad books.
I hope everyone enjoys the stories on The Arrow and appreciates our staff’s hard work and dedication.
