Hey, y’all!! My name is Preston Call and I’m a current senior at WHS!! I have been involved in journalism with Mrs. Melick and Mr. Bates since my freshman year at WHS. Since my sophomore year in Media Staff, I have taken part in journalism class as a photographer, yearbook-page designer, interviewer, as well as a WHS newspaper creator. I took Media Staff because of my interest in journalism and broadcast media and have grown to love it over the years! I have also taken part in Technical Theater as a Sound Designer for the WHS Drama Department, served as the club Historian for Interact Club, participated in the WHS Culinary Arts Program, and as an alternate for the award-winning WHS Drama UIL One Act Play. I am currently involved in clubs such as Interact and Student Council, as well as the National Honor Society, the Spanish Honors Society, and Musical Theater!! I enjoy going to coffee shops and book stores in my free time, as well as thrifting, going to record shops, and going to art festivals. I also enjoy Broadway, running outside, dancing, and anything to do with dogs!! I am also a big swiftie ever since the beginning!!  My plans after high school are to go to Texas A&M in College Station or Boston University to major in Biomedical Engineering to work in the Pharmaceutical lab and possibly minor in journalism. I also hope to move to NYC if I can, after graduating to intern for a year if possible!!
